For the ultimate in cooking fashion, Tracey recommends constructing a waterproof apron from duct tape. You'll need a couple of large rolls of tape. 1. Create a sheet approximately 26 x 32 inches from about 40 pieces of tape. 2. Creat three big strips; one 26 inches long for the neck, one 24 inches long and another 13 inches long for the belt. 3. Cut out a 7 inch square from each side on the vertical axis. You can attach these pieces later to the front of the apron for pockets. 4. Attach the 26 inch strip to each corner of the 12 inch section where you removed the 7 inch squares. Make sure it's firmly affixed. This will be the neck strap! 5. Attach the two remaining strips, one on each side, of the the apron. This is the belt. Adjust to fit. And there you go! Durable and stylish. You'll be the talk of your next dinner party.
